The Infront Excel Converter is a utility that converts Excel DDE links to the format used by The Online Trader.

 

Technical specifications

• The Excel converter works with workbooks created by Excel 2007 and later (*.xlsx and *.xlsm files).

• The current version supports DDE links created by Reuters First and SIX Trader.

Limitations

Note that the Infront Excel Converter is a free utility and comes with no warranty, expressed or implied, that the tool works as intended or that the conversion is accurate.

The Excel Converter may not correctly convert all markets, symbols and fields. The structure of the source DDE links cannot always be mapped directly to the structure in the Online Trader.

You should therefore always verify corret mapping after the conversion and make modifications as required.

Converting workbooks created by earlier versions of Excel

Workbooks saved by earlier versions of Excel must first be opened and saved as *.xlsx or *.xlsm before they can be converted.

After the conversion the files may again be opened in Excel and saved as Excel 97-2003 workbooks if required.
