January 2009: Changes to Dow Jones Newswire services

Please note that with effect from January 2009 the following changes are done to the Dow Jones Newswire services:  

  • DJ Selected Equity News: replace by DJ Nordic News International with flashes
  • DJ Financial Wire: New service from DJ covering more than 12.000 news stories per day in average
  • DJ European Investment News: services are obsolete from January 1 2009

November 2008: Milan data now available in realtime

Infront has signed an agreement with Bolsa de Madrid in order to provide Madrid data, including Equities, ETF, Warrants and Indices in realtime. Madrid data is available in the following packages:

October 2008: Infinancials Investor replaces Infinancials Trader from January 1st 2009

All existing users of Infinancials Trader service will be upgraded soon to Infinancials Investor without any extra cost for the rest of 2008.  The price from January 1st 2009 will be 60€/500DKK/500NOK/580SEK. Users of The Online Trader may try Infinancials Investor service completely free of charge for one month.

September 2008: Infinancials Investor update

New Feature - GPRV for Banks

Infinancials is pleased to announce that the GPRV radar chart is now available for banks. Banks have different financial ratios than industrials, and so Infinancials has created a specific GPRV chart for them. The indicators used in each section of the GPRV chart are as follows

  • Growth Indicators
  • Value Indicators
  • Profitability Indicators
  • Risk Indicators

Focus On - New Display for Search Results

Infinancials has recently improved the output for Company Search results, giving you a more effective understanding of the companies found in the search.
The results are now categorised into the following:

  • Ticker Matches;
  • Best Matches; and
  • Words Start With

In addition, with the help of little icons, you can also very easily see which companies have a GPRV radar chart available, which companies are inactive and consult the business summary of a company.

June 2008: Changes to Cross Market Indicators from July 1st

Please be informed that as of July 1st, Euronext and Swiss SWX will introduce exchange fees for access to realtime indices. As a result, all current subscribers to the Cross Market Indicators package will receive these indices 15 minutes delayed in the World Indices (WIX) market. At the same time, Infront will introduce realtime packages for both services for those who require this data in realtime. The exchange fee for Euronext Indices will be €7 per month/per user/device for Professionals users and SWX Indices CHF 3 per month/per user/device for both private and professionals.  If you want to receive realtime indices these package must be ordered separately. New market data package structure from July 1st:

  • Cross Market Indicators : Euronext and SWX Indices delayed 15 minutess
  • Euronext Indices (realtime)
  • SWX Indices (realtime)

In addition Infront introduces a new Chain called "Infront World Indicators" that will  display the indices according to your subscription. Read more

June 2008: Publication of deferred Broker Statistics data from OMX exchanges and Oslo SE as of June 2nd 2008

From June 2nd OMX Nordic exchanges and Oslo Stock exchange removed the buyer and seller ID on trades for selected stocks. The information is published after the post-trading session. The following changes was introduced from the exchanges with regards to the buyer and seller id:

  • Removed from 5 most liquid stocks listed on OMX Stockholm - data published at 1800
  • Removed from all stocks  listed on OMX Helsinki - data published at 1800
  • Removed from all stocks  listed on OMX Reykjavik - data published at 1800
  • Removed from all OBX 25 stocks  listed on Oslo Stock Exchange - data published at 1700
  • OMX Copenhagen is not affected

June 2008: Infinancials Investor now available

Infinancials has just launched a major innovation for investment professionals allowing them to:

  • Instantly assess the attractiveness of a stock
  • Visually benchmark it against comparable companies
  • Validate and communicate the rationale of their investment decisions

June 2008: Changes to Swedish IFA, Funds feed June 11th 2008

Infront will from June 11th upgrade the Swedish IFA, Funds feed. All symbols will be replaced with new codes, however ISINs are the same. For details see excel sheet on www.theonlinetrader.com/marketupdate/NewSSFCodes.xls


May 2008: Changes to Euronext Information Services from July 1st 2008

From July 1st Euronext will change the information services as described below:

  • Euronext Cash Level 1 will only include Last prices (new Euronext product code BBO1)
  • Euronext Cash Level 1+ will replace the existing Level 1 product (new Euronext product code BBO01+)
  • Euronext Cash Level 2 will increase from 5 Bid/Ask Level to 10 Bid/Ask levels (new Euronext product code BB010)
  • Euronext Index information will no longer be part of the Cash packages and will be licensed separately

New exchange end-user fees, applying from July 1st 2008:

  • Euronext Cash Level 1+, Professional Investor: from 19€ month to 60€ user/month 
  • Euronext Cash Level 2, Professional Investor: from 61€ month to 73€ user/month
  • Euronext Cash Level 2, Private Investor: no changes (1€ user/month)

April 2008: MTF markets from Nordic Growth Market now available

The NGM Exchange introduces trading on selected Nordic stocks as of April 1st 2008. The markets are displayed as MTF Selected Sweden and MTF Selected Norway. The data is available in the following packages in The Online Trader:

  • Nordic Growth Market (NGM/NDX/MTF) - Level 2
  • Swedish / Danish and Norwegian Basic Packages 
  • OMX Equities Level 1/Level 2 packages

March 2008: CBOT Mini futures fee liable from April 1, 2008

Effective April 1, 2008 the CBOT Mini futures package will be introduced with an exchange fee at $10 per month/per user/device. This package will include all Mini CBOT futures and options contracts: Mini Corn, Mini Dow, Mini Eurodollar, Mini Gold, Mini Silver, Mini Soybeans, and Mini Wheat.

The data is available in the following packages in The Online Trader:

  • US CBOT Mini futures only - Level 1 (realtime)
  • US CBOT Futures - Level 1 (realtime)

January 2008: FTSE indices available in realtime

Infront has signed an agreement with FTSE in order to provide FTSE indices in realtime. FTSE data is available in the following packages:  

  • Global FTSE Indices (realtime)
  • Cross Market Indicators (delayed 15 minutes)

December 2007: Changes to London Stock Exchange - Level 1 data on 4th February 2008

At the start of business on 4th February 2008, London Stock Exchange will remove the following data from the Level 1 data services: . Bid Size, Ask Size, Number of Bid Orders, Number of Ask Orders. This will affect the following services from Infront:

  • London SE, UK Stocks - Level 1
  • London SE, International Stocks - Level 1

December 2007: Increased exchange fees for 2008

Please note that the following exchanges will increase the exchange fees from 1st of January 2008 (fees per month ex.vat):

  • CBOT, Futures: from 50 USD to 55 USD
  • CME, Futures: from 50 USD to 55 USD
  • NYMEX, Futures: from 50 USD to 55 USD
  • COMEX, Futures: from 50 USD to 55 USD
  • FTSE Indices: from 15GBP to 16,5GBP
  • Toronto SE & TSX: from 54 to 58 USD (Pro users- billed from Toronto SE directly)

October 2007: LME data now available

Infront has signed an agreement with the London Metal Exchange in order to provide LME data in realtime (Level 1) and delayed (30 minutes). With the new data Infront will be able to target new customers and segment in the market. The following feeds are available:  

  • LME & LME Select Level 1
  • LME & LME Select Delayed 30 minutes

October 2007: Chi-X data now available

Infront has signed an agreement with the Chi-X in order to provide Chi-X data in realtime (Level 2) and delayed. About Chi-X: Established in response to clients' demands for a faster, cheaper and higher capacity alternative to trading on-exchange, Chi-X is the first order driven pan-European matching engine and central limit order book or Alternative Trading System (ATS). Under MiFID it will be known as a Multi-Lateral Trading Facility (MTF)Live trading in European equities started on 30 March 2007 with a plan to introduce 7,500 stocks by 1 November 2007

With the new data Infront will be able to target new customers and segment in the market. The following feeds are available: 

  • Chi-X Level  2

Infront is pleased to announce that we have signed an agreement with Nyhetsbyrån Direkt in Sweden and Nyhedsbureauet Direkt in Denmark in order to provide Direkt news to The Online Trader customers.
