Installation

To use The Online Trader you need a password and a user name. If you already have a subscription, you have received this information in an e-mail. If you are a new user and want to have a trial period please register by selecting Free Trial in the menu.

Step 1: Download

The Online Trader must be downloaded and installed on your computer (not compatible with MAC).

You can download the program from the link provided on this page. Choose “Run this program from its current location” and press Ok. The program will be downloaded to your computer.

Step 2: Installation

When the download is complete, the installation process starts automatically. You will receive a "Security Warning" asking if you accept the program from Infront. You must answer Yes to this question. Press Next to the following instructions, and the program is installed automatically.

Step 3: Log in

When the installation is finished you will be asked to enter your username and password. This information is found in the e-mail you received from us. Be sure to type this information correctly. You can later find the username and password under Tools|Setup on the Main Menu.

If you experience problems

If you experience problems during the download or installation, please read our Q&A section. The most common problem is that the username and/or password are typed wrong. Start the program again, choose Tools|Setup from the main menu and retype the information. Close and restart The Online Trader.

Firewall/Proxy

It is possible that a firewall or proxy obstructs access to the Internet from your PC. Please read about Proxy settings.
